Looking for individuals who can join our positive work environment. Minimum work day of 8 hours up to 15 hour days during harvest months. Experienced farm equipment operations necessary. Contract length: 6 months. Expected start date: 2021-06-15. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary. Salary: $15.12-$15.50 per hour. Schedule: 12 hour shift. Day shift: Monday to Friday, Weekends COVID-19 considerations: Foreign workers who are selected have the possibility of self isolating in the farm house. Experience: farm equipment operator: 1 year (Required)
Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery equipment, including but not limited skid steers, telehandlers, loaders, farm tractors/equipment, combine, grain cart, balers, self-propelled mower in a safe and responsible manner. - Drive the company semi trucks requiring a Manitoba Equivalent Class 1 or 3 license for farm related responsibility examples such as hauling grain, transporting skids, hauling straw and equipment. - General maintenance; fuel filling, greasing, oiling, wash and detail cleaning of cabs and equipment, and building and yard maintenance. Bale unloading, stacking, and loading of trucks.
